Privacy policy

Rocket Car is a free game with no accounts, no ads and no tracking. This page explains the small amount of data the game uses so the leaderboards work.

What we collect

• A random device ID. The game creates a random code the first time you play and keeps it on your phone. It is not linked to your name, phone number, advertising ID or any account.
• Your leaderboard nickname. Only if you choose to enter one. It is shown publicly next to your scores.
• Your scores and run details (score, distance, run length, which game) when you finish a run, so the leaderboards can rank them and filter out cheating.
• Anonymous gameplay stats: which screens are opened, runs started and finished, score, run length, what ended the run, and whether you're on the web, the home-screen app, iPhone or Android. Before storing, the device ID is replaced with a one-way code that can't be matched to your nickname or scores. We use this only to see how many people play and to make the games better.
• Your IP address, used only to limit how often scores can be sent. Rate-limit counters reset within a day and are not used to identify you.

What we do not collect

No names, emails, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifiers. There are no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites. Your personal bests and settings are stored only on your phone.

Tips

Tips are optional and processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details. A tip unlocks nothing in the game.

Where data is stored

Leaderboard data is stored in Microsoft Azure in the United States. Leaderboard entries are kept while the game is running, or until you ask us to remove them.

Children

The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Nicknames are filtered for offensive words.

Removing your scores

Email CONTACT_EMAIL with your nickname and we will remove your scores. Deleting the app removes the device ID and everything stored on your phone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
